As a general rule, it’s not a good idea to purchase Adderall online. While there are legitimate pharmacies that sell prescription drugs, there are many more illegal sites that claim to sell these drugs, often without the need for a prescription.
Adderall bought from illicit pharmacies can be cut with dangerous chemicals. Adderall can already be addictive on its own, and this potential is heightened when it is cut with other drugs.
You also run the risk of serious legal troubles if you buy drugs from these illicit sources.
Adderall is a prescription amphetamine, used to treat serious ADHD symptoms.
As an amphetamine, Adderall is prone to causing dependency, and it is a potential drug of abuse. Taken as prescribed, these risks are manageable, as are its many health risks. If it is abused, it can cause a sense of euphoria and focus that might lead to further abuse and a growing dependency.
Once a person is addicted to Adderall, stopping its use suddenly can cause:
If you abuse Adderall, especially if you feel you cannot stop, seek help from a medical professional as soon as possible.
In the online age, especially due to the existence of mostly confidential sites on the dark web, many people are choosing to purchase drugs online illegally. Prescription medications require a valid prescription from a licensed physician. No legitimate pharmacy will sell Adderall or any other prescription medication without a prescription from a licensed doctor.
Some illicit pharmacies claim they can give you a prescription. You simply have to visit the site, and a “cyber doctor” will write you a prescription for Adderall after you answer a few questions. These claims are meaningless, and this “prescription” is not valid.
If you are purchasing drugs without consulting a doctor in person and then getting them from a pharmacy, you are almost certainly committing a crime. It does not matter if you desire to abuse them or believe you legitimately need them; it is a crime.
There are numerous legal risks associated with buying Adderall online from shady sources.
Law enforcement agencies are targeting illegal online pharmacies and black market sites with increasing regularity. While there is no guarantee of punishment, the risk of getting caught is certainly increasing. Law enforcement officials are getting better at screening and tracking packages as well as using information from seized servers to track people buying from and supplying these drug sites.
There is also the problem of counterfeit drugs. For obvious reasons, a black market drug dealer’s goods do not have to follow normal safety or fraud regulations. This problem is not unique to online dealers, but these dealers have a degree of anonymity that is not necessarily associated with drug dealers who work in person. If an online retailer cheats you or harms you due to cut drugs, it will be difficult to track them down.
There have been warnings about counterfeit Adderall being sold illicitly. Here, the “Adderall” was tested and turned out to mostly be methamphetamine (meth) mixed with traces of other drugs. It’s not uncommon for dealers to sell counterfeit versions of prescription medications, and this is a frequent practice when drugs are sold online.
The best advice is to avoid buying drugs online. There are too many nefarious sites selling prescription drugs.
Most of the time, you’ll get ripped off altogether with no delivery, or you’ll receive a product that isn’t what you ordered. This could result in overdose if the dose or drug is stronger than you expect.
If you still choose to abuse Adderall and purchase it online, buy a test kit for some of the common compounds fake Adderall is cut with. Some kits test for Marquis reagent, which is commonly used in bath salts and meth.
Remember that you can’t trust a drug dealer — whether in person or online. Their goals are always profit driven.
After all, they explicitly sell drugs that harm people and are addictive. They are not bound by law or regulations. They don’t have your best interests at heart.
Many online sites are simply scams. They’re looking to take your money, and they don’t care about anything else. If you have a legitimate need for Adderall, talk to your doctor about your concerns and get a legitimate prescription.
