Brad Cohen has an undergraduate degree in psychology and social sciences with a minor in education. He received a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in both clinical and administration from Florida International University.
He has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual, group, and family therapy in a variety of settings for over 20 years. These settings have included inpatient hospitals, detoxification centers, outpatient facilities, private practice, in-school and in-home settings, as well as other community facilities. He has worked in the capacities of behavioral health technician, primary therapist, program director, and clinical director. The issues that he has dealt with throughout these positions include parent-child relationship issues, behavioral issues to mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders/dual-diagnosis. He is currently a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with the substance abuse professional certificate (SAP), a master-certified addiction professional (MCAP), and an internationally-certified alcohol and drug counselor (ICADC).
In his former role as vice president of business development for a neurological rehabilitation technology company, Brad has had to perform many functions in the areas of operations, customer service, marketing, and sales management. He has attained numerous achievements and acquired many crucial skills throughout his ten years of involvement.
